Integrative psychiatry services combine traditional western medicine with complementary and alternative treatments, to alleviate symptoms and improve quality of life and well-being. An integrative psychiatric assessment will consist of the development and implementation of a treatment plan that combines pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and plant-based supplements, to support mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. Whether you prefer treatment with natural remedies, pharmaceuticals, or a combination of both, Jewels Integrative psychiatry services can customize a plan and provide ongoing management and support.

Functional nutritional testing is a method utilized to identify physiologic imbalances that could be contributing to poor emotional and physical health. Just because lab values may appear within normal range on basic panels, does not mean that imbalances are not present. Utilizing the latest lab technologies available, I can help to dissect and identify nutrient, amino acid, and vitamin deficiencies, and examine for the presence of toxins and stress modulators within the bloodstream. Once these imbalances are recognized, interventions are offered to restore health and maximize functioning.

Have you tried several different treatments for a specific disorder without much relief? Well, you're not alone. Research shows that there IS a relationship between our genetic makeup and the development of psychiatric illness. Genetic testing will allow me to examine your predisposition for psychiatric illness and determine the medications that you are most likely to respond to. This allows me to further optimize your medication regimen and tailor a treatment that is most likely to be successful.
Please Note: This service is reserved for established patients only.
